reects on LAND ART. Emphasis has been put on the rhythmic programming, and plenty of room has been given to a piano, orchestral samples and guitars...

DoWnTao is a jerome Paressant's electronica solo project.
He also runs ABRAXAS PROJEKT (jazz electronica),
and the Indie Label OCEANIK CREATIONS.
DoWnTaO // Jérôme Paressant : Initially a songwriter,
Jerome Paressant has explored the eld of electronic music in confrontation
with jazz improvisation since 1998.
The outcome of this musical research was the creation of
ABRAXASPROJEKT ... Parallel to Abraxas Projekt,
Jerome Paressant has collaborated on several projects that
combine music, theatre and dance.
With DoWnTaO, a strictly electronic project, whose third & fourth album
"LUZ” & “LAND MUSIC” come out in 2010.
Among his latest collaborations, Jérôme Paressant has worked
with avant-gardists such as, LENA (Mathias Delplanque),
OLDMAN (Charles Éric Charrier), HOPEN, ATONE, Alain Belamiri (OBAKE),
VADIM VERNAY, Philippe Petit…. Under various aliases and projects, the transversal and
sonic wares of Jérôme Paressant have boldly explored electronica, dub and jazz,
while keeping wide open spaces to other musical genres.
A pluralistic personality, to say the least…
